Over the last two weeks I was sick and then ObamaFest began. No exercise or portion control happened. I haven't got on the scale yet but I know it won't be positive.
What do you do to get back on track?
When I fall off I get up and get back on as soon as possible. So for this week I will get really strict with myself so that I can quickly undo the gains if any. It also allows me to get back on without thinking. Often I try to find the most interesting and healthy food because I'm a foodie at heart. In these times I go instead to the tried, true, and easy. This next week will be interesting because I gave all my pots to goodwill so all I'm left with is a small sauce pan and a non-stick skillet. I guess that's a challenge all of it's own. So this is what it will look like:
Breakfast:
Oatmeal with Fruit
Yogurt with Fruit and Nuts
Lunch:
Au Bon Pain Soups
Sushi
Subway Sandwiches
Dinner:
Shrimp and Vegetable Stir-Fry w/ Brown Rice
Mini Pizzas with Spinach Salad
Chinese Chicken Salad

This is way off topic and all but seems like the easiest way to get at you. I have a question about Play Date DC and game night at Euphoria. A. Does it happen. B. is it monthly or weekly. Trying to put together a fun night for thursday night and there are no numbers for Euphoria. Your name pops up on yelp talking about it so you are my resource! Thank you! Journey78
Play Date DC/Game Night takes place every Thursday. However, this week Feb 5, someone has rented the space out so game night will be confined to the downstairs so there won't be Nintendo Wii.
Thanks for the follow up. I have 2 more questions. Is there a cover charge and is there a dress code? Other than the Wii the old school games will be available right? I play a mean game of connect four.
There is no cover or dresscode. It's very laid back. The old school games will be available. Food and drinks are available.
